The Midland MXT575 MicroMobile™ GMRS two way radio is one of the most powerful mobile radios specifically designed for the General Mobile Radio Service allowed by law! The MXT575 delivers up to full 50 watts of power on 15 GMRS channels and 8 repeater channels with support for 142 privacy codes and split tones. It's also equipped with NOAA weather channels, plus Scan and Alert technology for the latest in ever changing weather conditions.

The MXT575 is packed with the features you expect from an MXT series Micromobile, such as narrow and wide band selectability, high and low power settings, and adjustable squelch sensitivity. It also has a Call Alert Tone, Silent Operation, and that every important Roger Beep for transmit confirmation.

The Midland MXT575 also features a hand microphone with built-in lighted display that includes 7 color options and fully integrated controls, so you can have it on hand where ever you need it and keep the main unit tucked away out of site. The MXT575 includes an external speaker jack and intercom jack for even greater versatility. A USB-C port is built into the radio for quick charging of other devices, such as a smartphone.

The Midland MXT575 comes with a hand microphone, magnet mount with cable, antenna, power cord, owner's manual and a one year warranty from Midland.

Simple, easy to use and lots of power. I love how everything you need is already included in the package ready to go. Antenna is small but very effective. Measured SWR at 1.00 on the metal hood of my JEEP. I moved the antenna to the fibreglass roof and SWR went up to 1.94. So I lost SWR but gained height and reduced potential interference. Antenna performance better on the roof even with higher SWR. Bottom line... great radio. If you want to complain about not perfect SWR on the roof....don't buy a Jeep.

The Jeep doesn't have much radio space. The MXT575 is perfect because everything is in the hand piece. Nice features and pretty easy to operate. I can put the mic, with all the controls, in my line of sight while watching the road.
